Rays Of Light On A Winter Morning
11X14 Acrylic on canvas
Painting "Rays Of Light On A Winter Morning" brought some interesting challenges for me. I started this painting as an open-air study, and decided to continue painting it outside at the park. I had to wake up at 5:00 am for an entire week, to be able to capture the first rays of morning light. I only got a little more than an hour each day before the light changed. Therefore it took a little longer to finish than I had estimated.
The bees and mosquitoes did not make matters easier. LOL I brought a bottle of Black Flag for the bees and ants, but the mosquitoes kept biting me the whole time. I still need to add a few more broken limbs and minor details, but it is pretty much finished.
The inspiration for this painting came from a photograph from sweetlittlelulu88 [link] Beautiful gallery
Comments are always appreciated it.
