Not A Pretty Picture- An Artist Sacrifices his favorite painting…!

One of the best know wildlife artist, destroys his favorite painting to convey his message.

Sad, but being the old cynic, I'm hoping that was just watercolour that he put on it.
Anyway, he made the point. Although, the tankers need to go somewhere and wherever they go, there'll be the same problem.
As long as people need oil, I don't see how this can be averted.

Thanks for sharing the video. Robert Bateman is one of my very favourite artists and seeing him paint such a beautiful picture into black... I ended up signing that petition: I've visited the BC coast and I could never bear to see that happening there.

Wow. That certainly gets the message through. Its very sad. :(

I love your paintings by the way. So beautiful. It really is tragic what humanity has done to the planet, we need to cut down on breeding and keep the population down, too many people means too many resources are being used and other species are threatened.
